This was an incredible insight into the struggles and successes with Jane's long-time dream to live the simple life in a remote river canyon. I was amazed at the amount of strength she had to continue after all the trials in trying to build in this remote area. Great read.

A true story of one family's struggle to carve out a life in the Oregon high desert land. They were searching for the "simple" life, but found hardship and beauty along the way. An interesting look at one family life. It makes everyone realize that the "simple" life isn't so simple after all. An interesting read.
