This was my first Joe Demarco book/story but I intend to go back and read others before this one.
I don't usually read anything that is related to politics or lawyers but the library posted this on their 'new' list so I requested it, the first few pages almost made me quit when I realized it is political but Lawson did a good job writing this book
I read reviews berating Lawson for putting his political views into the story but wait---this is just a book with a storyline how does anyone know it's actually Lawson's views? I looked at it just like what it's supposed to be
A BOOK/STORY OF FICTION! so try reading it like that and don't be so offended and overlook what you think is Lawson's political review, as for any reference to the President---this is a book! and how do you know he isn't talking about President Tom, Dick or Harry
Sorry for the rant but I just read a good book for that reason---it's a book
