I have requested a book from a member that I really want and I am still waiting for the member to respond to the request.  How long should I wait for him/her to respond before canceling the order?  Is there a way to see if another member has the title?

Don't cancel. If the person doesn't respond within 5 days, it cancels itself. I think you get a message stating that the request timed out. If it's a book you really want, you can reorder it from someone else and if it's a WL book you'll get the next one that gets posted into the system.

Yep, if there's another copy in the system, it will automatically reorder from the next person in line, so you don't have to do anything.   :)

Exactly. If you cancel and the book is on anyone's wishlist they (and there could be many they's) will get chosen before you.
