O my goodness! I've found a new favorite author! This was just the right measure of suspensefulness without being gut-wrenching. I figured out about 3/4 of the way thru the book WHO the villian was, just not HOW he was doing it!! A very good book....I'm on my way to find more.

Great beach read! That's where I read it, on my vacation in Cancun, on the beach. Good suspense. The first book I've read of Andrea Kane's, and I will be ordering more.

There's nowhere to hid. Nowhere is safe. He's watching. Combines romance with an element of danger.

Taylor Halstead is a psychologist, who has a radio show and helps teens at a prestegious school. She is an only child of wealthy parents who were never there for her. Her best friend is her cousin who is also from a wealthy family, an only child with unresponsive parents. Taylor is not very outgoing and likes to control as much of her life as she can. Stephanie is the opposite and very outgoing and willing to take chances.

Reed Weston is a brillant attorney. He has been very ambitious and has finally come to realize he wants to represent a more moral, ethical type of client.

When Taylor is attacked by Stephanie's boyfriend, she is frightened and reports him to the police. However before anything can be done he and Steph are killed in the explosion of his yacht.

Suddenly Taylor is being stalked. She meets the boyfriends twin brother and immedately feels threatened. Reed is his attorney. Now the fun begins and the facts just don't add up. So with a few murders, threatening phone calls, and lots of suspense we follow the book to it's conclusion. It is a good read.

Psychologist and popular radio personality Taylor Halstead is terrified that she'll never be safe again. Her world was violated when Gordon Mallory--her cousin Stephanie's wealthy, sadistic boyfriend--attacked Taylor in her own apartment...and then swore he'd be back to finish the job when the assault was interrupted. Even Gordon's death soon after in a mysterious yacht explosion cannot calm her, especially since Stephanie was also destroyed in the blast. And now Taylor's life has become a waking nightmare, with threatening messages arriving via e-mail...and an electronically disguised voice on the telephone promising he'll be coming for her soon. The only once she can turn to is attorney Reed Weston--her confidant, protector, and, ultimately, her lover. Someone out there wants Taylor dead. He's coming closer. And she has nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

WHO is watching?? And why - this is a suspense/romance that really cranks up the suspense. After her cousin is killed and she is attacked, radio psychologist Taylor Halstead is terrified that she'll never be safe again - and maybe she is right! Kept me guessing to the end, with several choices for the "bad guy" and a great choice for the good one.

Taylor Halstead is nearly raped by her cousin's boyfriend. That same night her cousin and her boyfriend are killed in a boat accident. Taylor becomes victim to a stalker and she turns to attorney Reed Weston to help her figure out who is tormenting her. Good read, good mystery with a significant twist at the end, good romance. Recommended.

Really good suspense. A woman is attacked in her home. The attacker dies, but she begins receiving e-mails and phone calls from someone sounding suspiciously like him.

An OK story about a woman who survives an assault by her cousins boyfriend only to find herself the object of a stalkers attention. The story had a lot of promise but I had a hard time connecting with the characters. It wasnt hard to figure out that Gordon was the stalker, but after he was declared dead early on in the story kept me trying to figure out how he was stalking her while keeping his identity a secret.

Most of the story revolves around Taylor living in fear. Fear over Gordons assault, fear of his promise to come back and finish what he started, fear over the emails and the new stalker, fear over meeting Gordons identical twin brother. The majority of this story is predictable, but what interested me is finding out about Gordons background and why he became the person he did. Though I didnt feel a connection to them, I liked Taylor and Reed. I just never felt their reactions and responses came to life.

Overall, this book had a lot of potential but never seemed to get off the ground.
