Keith Eliot Greenberg was born in the Bronx in 1959, he is a New York Times best-selling author, and television producer.. He went to Bayside High School in Queens, graduating in January 1977. He attended a number of colleges in the New York area.

His many books include Menudo, To Be the Man, Erik is Homeless, and Zack's Story. His current book is "Perfect Beauty", a true crime story based on an Ohio murder case. He writes articles for WWE magazine and The Village Voice. He previously produced Geraldo at Large,a prime time television program on Fox News Channel, and is now a producer for "America's Most Wanted".

In 2006, while doing a story for Geraldo at Large, he was mistaken by police as Bucky Phillips, a cop shooter from upstate New York. He was not taken into custody, but he was questioned and searched. He now produces the Fox News program "America's Most Wanted."

His upcoming books are "December 8th, 1980: The Day John Lennon Died", and "Love Hurts", the story of the Caffey family murder in rural Texas.

His first book was published in 1983. It was a story of Menudo, a 1980's pop band. In the mid-1980s, he began working for USA Toda, and other news publishers as well.

In 1990, he wrote the PBS documentary "The Blue Helmets", about United Nations peace keeping.

After writing about professional wrestling for a number of newspapers and magazines, he became a regular writer, contributor, and reporter for WWE, known formerly as WWF. He also co-authored a number of biographies of professional wreslers, including Freddie Blassie, Ric Flair, and Superstar Billy Grahm. In 2009, he co-wrote an unreleased biography of the Iron Sheik.

A father of two children, he currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
