Louis E. Boone (born 1941) is a United States academic author. His works cover contemporary business and economics. His most famous works include university-level texts Contemporary Marketing and Contemporary Business (both with David L. Kurtz). He lives in Mobile, Alabama where he is the emeritus professor of business at the University of South Alabama. He also owns the most extensive collection of Barbizon art in the United States, which is now part of the collection of the Mobile Museum of Art.
