Rather pedestrian retelling of a bank robbery where a police officer was shot. The robbery was committed by a young couple; the man subsequently commits suicide rather than be taken into custody. The book focuses on the young woman. The relationship was abusive, and that was used as her defense. It didn't really hold my interest.

This kept me on the edge of my seat. Didn't know what to expect around the next corner. Enjoyed.
