From the back cover:
HER ONCE AND FUTURE LOVER...
Dr. Derek Mahoney had spent years keeping his libido at bay, but sexy Kristin Gordon has his cool composure at the breaking point. Once upon a time she'd been content as nanny to his little girl, and now suddenly she was looking for her OWN happily-ever-after-with him! And yet, what was a man to do when a woman like Kristin flashed a whole lotta leg and batted her long lashed in his direction?
Derek took a chance on what felt right! Holding Kristin in his arms and having her in his bed was like an unquenchable thirst. One he might never get tired of trying to satisfy...but was he ready for the marriage ultimatum?

Poignant and sweet. Derek lost his wife to cancer years ago, and Kristin found herself acting as a wife to her crush in all ways but one. Kristin is cooking, cleaning, caring for his daughter, and providing companionship, but he regards her as just a friend.
Kristin realizes she's being used and decides to start separating her life from his so she can start looking for love.
I adored it!
