Maria Dolors Torres Manzanera known as Maruja Torres (Barcelona, March 16, 1943) is a Spanish writer and journalist.
Her parents were from Murcia and she was born in El Raval neighbourhood. She started as a journalist thanks to Carmen Kurtz when she was 21 years old. She has worked for several publications (La Prensa, Garbo, Fotogramas, Por Favor, El País...) and her opinions about People's Party and Israeli government have been very controversial.
She lives currently in Beirut.
