This is a wonderful and moving book. In addition to the secret of his birth, there is the theme of his enduring and overcoming abuse from the man who was supposedly his father. The book was honest and full of hope, and hard to put down.

Interesting story with a unique twist. Not filled with fluff. Although bogged down with abuse, this man does remarkable things with his life.
