From Socrates to Martin Luther King, Oscar Wilde to President Nixon, with occasional asides by Will Rogers and Mark Twain, this book contains odds and ends of interest to anyone who wants to make an impact in conversation.
Even if you are not a public speaker, you might like this book just for the mental gymnastics it puts your own mind through. There are sections on love and loving, sections on insults and abuse, on family and familiarity, not to mention passion, rights and rivalry. Plus lots and lots more. Really thought provoking!
