I've Got The Middle Age Yuppie Blues

Looked in the mirror today
Saw my waist has gotten thick
and my roots are showing grey
I needed some kind of fix
to chase my middle age yuppie blues

Dirty dishes in the sink
Messy clutter here and there
and it caused me to think
than nobody really cared
about my middle age yuppie blues

I went shopping for a lift
so I brought my credit card
Thought I'd buy myself a gift
Card maxed out,I took it hard
Cause of the middle age yuppie blues

My therapist,my best friend
didn't even have the power
So our friendship had to end
One hundred twenty an hour
couldn't cure my middle age yuppie blues
