Great read! Kept me glued to my set! A suspenseful story about a troubled Doc who's given a second chance to prove himself at the state-of-the-art Boston Heart Institute. After finding discrepancies with a new drug, he takes on a big pharma company with lots of twists& turns.
I especially love how Palmer seamlessly weaves the scientific and medical stuff throughout the story in such a way that even someone like me with limited medical knowledge can understand.
A definite must read!!

I really enjoy Micheal Palmer's writing, he wrote the book that the move extreme measures was based on. This book is about a miracle drug that it being tested on humans, the results are so promising the main character(Brian) gets his father involved in the study. However, soon Brian begins to suspect that someone is hiding something impotant about this drug. Great psychological thriller/ medical mystery.

Good read ... Ienjoyed it ... but ... a bit long in the telling ... I looking forward to reading some ore recent works by Coben ... this is an early one (his early 20s) and while the idea is great, the book is just 'good' ... don't skip it ...
