Andrea Boyle has moved to Seattle with her nephew, Spencer, to get a fresh start after the death of Spencer's parents. Andrea is also starting over with a new relationship with Playwright Luke Schuler. Luke's teenage son, Damon is the same age as Spencer, but they really haven't hit it off the way Andrea hoped they would. Damon is being bullied at school. When he tells the teachers and principal, they are no help. Damon sets off on a plan to get even with his tormentors; one that causes a nightmare for both Andrea and Spencer.

This is my first book by Kevin O'Brien, but it won't be my last. This book starts off with a bang and never lets up. There are some good twists in this story. I guessed one part of it correctly; but had no idea about other things that were revealed as the story unfolded. My rating: 4 Stars.

One of the best I've read in a long time, an Amazon reviewer noted it was for teenagers but I don't agree, it has a message for more than teens, it was very well written and for a book of 500+ pages it has to keep your interest and this one does to the end--hard to put down
