Nancy E. Krulik is the author of more than 100 books for children and young adults, including three New York Times bestsellers. She is best known, however, for being the author and creator of the How I Survived Middle School and Katie Kazoo, Switcheroo book series. Beginning in July 2008, Grosset and Dunlap (a division of Penguin Young Readers) will launch the George Brown, Class Clown series, a spin off of Katie Kazoo.

Nancy currently lives in Manhattan with her husband, composer Daniel Burwasser, their two children, Amanda and Ian, and a crazed Cocker spaniel named Pepper.
