This is what I wrote for the paper version: I had full intentions of liking this book, and so I am disappointed and surprised at how boring I found it. Well, found as much as I could read. Perhaps it is because there is nothing new in the world of New Age. Or that he is just another author lucky enough to not only get published, but have Oprah or one of her staff love and promote the book. All he had to do is add some words, rehash what everyone else is saying, throw in an anecdote... If I ever planned on reading another one of these books, I'd stick with Dyer.
Now this is what I write for the audio: What was I thinking? I know, that perhaps hearing the story would not be as boring as reading it. Having someone tell me... Bah! His voice holds absolutely no inflection, it is more like droning background sounds. I couldn't pay attention no matter how hard I tried.
