This book of poems was very good. I am going to see the play "cats" and I wanted to read the poems first. Now I can't wait to see the play as I will know a bit about the cats that are in it. Fun and funny at times.

I'm a fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats", so when I discovered it was actually based on a set of poems, I was so excited to read them. While I enjoy Webber's musical version of many of these poems, it's pretty neat to simply read them as poetry.
This is a great read for people owned by cats or cat-lovers. :)

Where the Night Mail's ready to depart,
Saying, 'Skimble, where is Skimble has he gone to hunt the thimble?
We must find him or the train can't start.'"
