I'm sorry, but I just couldn't "get into" this book at all. Since I have "eaten up" many other culinary-type mysteries and/or romances; in this case I do not think it's just me.
Story of a young woman, aptly named Pomme, who is passionate about cooking, literature and her own romantic adventures, The novel contains nearly 100 recipes, ranging from Dickens' chanpagne punch to the Count of Monte Cristo's poisoned lemonade. Great fun.
