Nice story! I live near Cripple Creek and have visited a couple of times and it is a neat old town with tons of historial charm and it is fun that she lists a lot of address' and I could picture the areas she talked about. The stories are unique and touching and have just enough suspense not to freak me out and I can't wait to see what happens to Vivian when she joins her sisters in Cripple Creek this summer.

This is the second book in the series & this one did not disappoint. I loved the characters, the twists & turns & just the whole feel while I was reading it. I am just hoping it is not long for the 3rd title is out so I can continue with the adventure of the Sinclair sisters & the people of Cripple Creek.

I really enjoyed this 2nd book about the Sinclair sisters. Ida is the eldest sister, and she joins sisters Kat and Nell in Cripple Creek after getting her business degree. Her dream is to be a successful businesswoman, though at this time, a woman in a man's world of business is not very well thought of. This could be read as a stand-alone, but you'll want to know more about Kat and Nell from the first book. The same wonderful characters--Hattie and Boney--also show up again. Book 3 will be out May, 2012, so I've got a long wait to see what life has brought to the Sinclair sisters.

I like books that impart a bit of Christian wisdom without being preachy. Ms. Hodgson's book fits that description. My favorite from this book -- "Here we go, God please go before me"

This story as a historical has a new twist -- women in business and insider trading cirica 1896. There were references in the story that are factual.

Again another funny book--with still no "wow" in the romance dept. Good author fine Christian values--and who knew there were women stock buyers in 1896. But I like Mary Connealy better.

Too Rich for a Bride is a really sweet story. It is the perfect read for last few days of my honeymoon. It is a very light and comfortable read.

I really liked that the main character Ida is a businesswoman and not afraid to go after what she wants. The romance is a bit predictable, but it's one of those stories that, even though you might know who ends up with who, you enjoy arriving to that conclusion.

I wouldn't have minded a bit more character development. One character turns out to be other than who they seem to be, but I really didn't feel like I knew them well enough to be surprised. I didn't know them enough to trust them, so it didn't feel that jeopardizing when the big reveal came along.

I'm hoping that Hodgson will write more about the youngest Sinclair sister, Vivian. Like Ida, she seems quite spunky. I'll definitely read more of Hodgson in the future.
