Carries on the Jesse Stone persona fairly well. Plot a little convoluted.

Coleman just can't do justice to Parker's characters, this was so poorly written and too wordy, unlike Parker's writing style, it just took pages and pages to get past one little thing and it just got more and more boring trying to stay interested in this book
Tom Selleck did a good job in the beginning with this character but the last couple movies he did he just didn't pull it off good enough for me, probably just not a good storyline
I might keep trying this series to see if it gets any better but I'd say forget this one---just more on the boring side with a ho hum storyline
