Two years ago Damon caused Elanor to break their engagement since he knew he wouldn't make her happy. (He loved her and didn't want to make her sad, but he refused to admit this to himself.) Regardless of what Damon did, deep down he's a good guy and wanted the best for Eleanor and knew at that point it wasn't him. Now she is being courted by a womanizing Italian prince. Damon is jealous as hell and doesn't want Eleanor to be hurt again so he's doing everything he can to thwart the romance.

Wonderfully amusing and romantic because you know, he falls hard for Eleanor and this time he can't deny it. The chase and retreat by both parties makes for a great story.

I enjoy all Nicole Jordan's book, and this is no exception. Can't put it down until I finished it.

this book's plot was just too predictable, not the usual for this author, have enjoyed the other's in this series though & will still read the next one.

I started this book with great hopes of jumping into a historical romance and being taken into an unforgetable fantasy. I kept reading a page at a time, getting bored, and putting it down. I suffered a week through 90 pages of this book! I can read a good noven in about 2 days. I was waiting for the story to pick up. And around page 70/80 the story jumped, and the plot didn't make sense. I was so disappointed! If I can say one thing about this book, it helped me fall asleep at night.

Book Description:
Two years ago, lively beauty Eleanor Pierce spied her dashing betrothed, Damon Stafford, Viscount Wrexham, with his former mistress and furiously ended their engagement. Now the charming rake is back in London, meddling in Eleanor's affairs, bent on thwarting her new suitor. And when Damon's intoxicating kisses rekindle her deepest longing, Eleanor loses her heart... again. But as she has no intention of allowing history to repeat itself, she embarks on a plan of tantalizing seduction, vowing to tame the rogue before she surrenders to his wicked, willful desires...

Determined to stop another man from wooing and winning the woman he loves, Damon knows that claiming Eleanor's heart is all that matters. But this scandalously bold beauty means to beat him at his own game of romance -- a game he is ready and willing to lose.

I founf this to be a wonderful read...
