Although the book jacket synopsis seemed a little cheesy for me (although enough for me to read the book), the story read with some depth and intrigue. This is a Christian novel about a wife (Linda), her husband and her relationships with her family, friends, and co workers. Megan DiMaria, in my opinion, did a great job with her first novel. I am preparing to start into her second novel, "Out of Her Hands", that continues the story of Linda and focuses on her children who are now adults.

I really enjoyed this read and finished it quickly. Linda, the main character, faces real-life issues as a mid-life woman. She seems like a real person in that she sometimes handles things well and sometimes she learns some things from God in the midst of her struggles with her family, friends and co-workers. Linda seems to live like most of us trying to live the Christian life. Megan DiMaria did do a wonderful job of writing this novel.
