I didn't really enjoy this book and I don't think I'll be seeking out another by this author. It was pretty far fetched. I am not a romance reader and this ventured into romance too much along the way. It just made for slow going. I didn't care for the characters so I didn't much care what happened to them. The exception was probably Henry but we don't find out what his connection to the people in the secluded cabin is until the end. Romantic suspense readers may enjoy it. I am just glad to be done with it.

I throughly enjoyed this book! Would never consider it romantic suspense. It was a much more a psychological thriller. I am a fan of DNA and loved the way this author incorporated it into her story. There are a lot of characters to keep tract of, but the book wouldn't have worked without all of them. I also liked the way the author wrapped up all their lives in the final chapters, so you weren't wondering what happened to any of them. I use to read Lisa Unger (Miscione) 20 years ago, when she first started out. So glad I am reading her again!

Wow! Not my usual type of story, but I read it for Book Club. I'm not much for horror stories, but this was a great who-dunnit with a lot of intrigue. A dream weekend getaway turns into a nightmare for family and friends at a very secluded cabin in the middle of a massive storm. It kept me guessing for about three quarters of the story when I sensed a clue as to the identity of a character. Very interesting premise, and I probably shouldn't have been reading it before goin to sleep every night!
