Great series about the South. These books are about real people in history and the author brings them to life by fictionalizing their feelings and thoughts.

This is number two in Price's "Savannah Quartet". "hailed as one of the united States' greatest writers of historical fiction, Eugenia Price presebts the stirring events and everyday happenings of life in Savannah in 1838. She also has a number of other series: The St. Simons Trilogy, the Florida Triligy, and the Gerogia Trilogy , as well as this brilliant Quartet. She was awarded the National Ebdowment for the Arts Governor's Award for her trilogy of novels set on St. Simons Island. She has a body of work that covers over 25 other works of fictin & nonfiction. The four books in this Quartette are: 1. Savannah, 2. To See Your Face Again, 3. Before Darkness Falls, AND 4. Stranger in Savannah.
