Hard to read. Not because of how it is written, well, maybe that is why. Very well written. These stories will break your heart. I was in high school and college during Viet Nam, and remember reading Life and Newsweek magazines, as well as the Washington Post, and seeing the photos of such pain and destruction. I did not know anyone fighting there, but I imagine if I did this book would hit home so much harder. It should be (and maybe it is somewhere?) required reading in Modern American History courses.
