As someone who knew nothing about the Amish lifestyle, this book offered a glimpse into some of their ways of life and beliefs. It was a great story, although a bit predictable. I look forward to the next book in the series!

This a good for a quick easy read, it is interesting to look into the world of the Amish and their beliefs. I'm not a big fan of Lewis and can only read her books once in a while, they are kind of like Danielle Steel books, same kind of story with different names, etc., very predictable and slow.
I absolutely loved this book! I have fallen deeply in love with Beverly Lewis and her series are full of information, and i haven't been able to put them down!!

I loved this book. It had me guessing what would happen next, but is never what I was anticipating. Beverly Lewis combines religious and social morals with a wonderful Amish story. It leaves me hungering for the next book in the series!
Much better than the movie
This was my first Beverly Lewis book. I really enjoyed it and ordered the other two books halfway through reading this one because I knew I'd be dying to continue reading the story.

It would be really hard to find out after 22 years that you were adopted and that your birth mother is dying and looking for you. another great read.
