This anthology has a few excellent stories, a number of good stories and a couple of more pedestrian tales. Overall, "Spell Fantastic" is a diverting read for fantasy fans. I like this type of book when I want to introduce myself to an unfamiliar author.

Let these spellcasters work their storytelling magic on you. A marvelous collection!

In SPELL FANTASTIC, thirteen of today's finest word wizards have crafted unforgettable tales with which to enchant your imagination.

From a minor wizard running a magic shop who suddenly finds himself the prime suspect in a mysterious murder to a girl discovering her special 'gift' which can reveal who people really are... to a computer with a magic all its own...
