Popular sci-fi author Eric Flint thinks this collection of short stories, by James Schmitz, about a female telepath and a female troubleshooter with latent psi talents is the cat's meow.
I also had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed. While some of the story lines are interesting, the plots seems to consist of one or both of the female leads getting trapped into situations that seem to have no possibility for their getting out of them... and then a miracle happens... and they come out the winner.
