Good story, not really the typical western I was expecting but well worth your time. I would listen to it again.

I loved this book! The writing is delightful, witty, at times solemn; the main character is very likeable and her environment is made so real. The story is warm, well written, and unpretentious. Made me laugh out loud several times.

Specific to the audiobook, Annie Potts is a wonderful narrator for the character. I think she did a superb job. And the design and engineering of the CDs is also very well done. Very easy to listen to in the car.

Bottom line, 5 stars. A+.

Great narration by Annie Potts. She captured the voice perfectly of this book. Very interesting story of the Wild West from a woman's point of view.

I enjoyed this story. Its entertaing, I still chuckle when thinking of the story and the way it was presented by Ann P.
