The synopsis is what made me want to read the book. Enough to get me intrigued. I was not disappointed at all. I enjoyed every bit of this book and was able to complete it in 24 hours. Wondering if his others books are as good???

DON'T EVER TELL is described as a thriller in a front cover blurb...but it's missing the thrill.

The writing is very ABC, and so the ending can be seen from the very beginning. And I mean, after the second or third chapter, a third-grader could see exactly where this was headed. Seriously.

The big bad guy is very bad guy-ish, and the ex-wife and new hubby are very "new couple about to have their world turned upside down by big bad maniac ex-husband." Nothing new here, and the pacing was mind-numbingly slow, bogged down with day-to-day 'got in the car and drove here and there' monotonous type things.

If you're looking for a "taut, involving, and utterly convincing thrill ride," save your time and skip this one.

Can't recommend it, or give more than 1.5 stars.
