Tony Roche is a television and radio comedy writer. He created the series World of Pub for BBC Radio, and later adapted it for television. He also worked on the radio series The Sunday Format, and, with its creator John Morton, co-created its television equivalent Broken News. Most recently, he is a member of the writing team on The Thick of It and its film spin-off In the Loop. Since his estrangement from his father Brian Blessed in 1992, he has written under the maiden name of his mother, Ferrera Roche.
In 2009 Tony was part of the writing team for disability mockumentary drama Cast Offs.
