An excellent book that covers gender reassignment, and how it affects those around the one who undergoes surgery. WONDERFULLY portrayed, fiction but seems like a memoir.

Extremely interesting story! I was a little disappointed with the ending...you'll see. But the story is different, and well written.

I was expecting edge-of-the-seat tension like in Midwives, and instead found myself in the most unexpected plot lines, all based, of course, on human relationships, with a trans-sexual in the middle of it all. A book for either men or women, read aptly by Judith Ivy.
