This was my 10 year old's book and I read it after him. It's a preteen, teen and young adult category book but even a 30 yr old like myself enjoyed it.

Very intriguing plot; Haddix knows how to create very memorable yarns.

Haddix is an excellent author..this as with all her other novels, is not a let-down. About two friends, (now old) who get the chance to be young again by participating in a top-secret experiment. At first it seemed to be a miracle...but obviously things aren't always what they seem to be.

What would it be like to start UN-aging---getting younger every year instead of older? How would it affect everything you did? How would it affect your dealings with the rest of the people in the world who continue getting older each year? And not everyone is allowed to have this process of UN-aging. How should the decisions be made on who could and who couldn't . . .?

From back cover: In the year 2000 Melly and Anny Beth were old and ready to die. But when offered the chance to be young again by participating in a top-secret experiment called Project Turnabout, they agreed. They received injections that made them grow younger, and it seemed like a miracle. But when the injections that were supposed to stop the unaging process turned out to be deadly, Melly and Anny Beth decided to run for their lives.
Now it is 2085. Melly and Anny Beth are teenagers. They have no idea what will happen once they are babies again, but they do know they will soon be too young to take care of themselves. They need to find someone to help them before time runs out, once and for all....

Great Sci-fi. Great if you like sci-fi not the best if you dont. Same style as other Haddix books. I loved it.
