Characters that caught my attention. Engaging real people in a weird, spritually wacked-out situation. I found this book a well-written whodoneit, with spiritual truth as a solid underpinning.

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!

extremely slow, extremely boring

tried sticking with it but by halfway I was just skipping and skimming trying to find a place where it got interesting.

when it takes 2 pages to describe how to run bath water, what the temp of the water is, which foot you put in first---I mean what???

I cancelled the other 2 in the series, too many other books that will be much much better!

Waking Hours is an exciting and suspenseful beginning to the East Salem Trilogy. I cant wait to begin reading the second book, which is unusual for me. Normally, I like to wait a while before jumping back into a suspenseful series.

I like both Dani and Tommy, the main female and male characters, because they are both intelligent and not given to impulsive decisions or behavior. I also enjoy the little romantic element to their relationship.

Waking Hours is a many-layered novel. It seems very well-balanced to me. There are some very creepy and gory scenes, but they are written with logic and not just put there for sensationalization.
