Walter "Walt" Dumaux Edmonds (July 15, 1903 Booneville, New York — January 24, 1998) was an American author noted for his historical novels, including the popular Drums Along the Mohawk (1936), which was successfully made into a Technicolor feature film in 1939 directed by John Ford and starring Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert.
