A tantalizing romance of love and treachery that sweeps from an ancient castle steeped in splendor to a crumbling Scottish fortress poised high above the moors. And From the Scottish highlands to London Society.
Thoroughly enjoyable.

This was a beautiful book where the romance poured off the pages. I read many romances where I enjoy the story because of the humor or the plot, but I feel like it is rare to read a book where you can see that the main characters really love each other. This is one of those books where you can just feel it. It has a beautiful story about the not always easy journey of love. I also enjoy stories where the main characters know each other in previous years. Another aspect I enjoyed about this book is is the way the hero is depicted. In several scenes it is very sweetly obvious how much the hero loves the heroine. Who doesn't love a hero who will cry over the thought of losing his love. Overall a very well-written book.

I absolutely loved this story, just like Teresa Medeiros to use very keen wit and humor in her books. I hope to read many many more of her older books, love her style of writing.

A DARING WARRIOR
As she peered over the edge of the gallery, Sabrina Cameron trembled at the sight of the sun-bronzed giant striding into view. But she never recognized the stranger not until the moment she found herself surrounded by arms of warm steel -- and drowning in smoldering green eyes that had once held cool disdain but now shimmered with passion. Morgan MacDonnell, the boy, had been her tormentor. Now it looked as if Morgan, the man, would prove infinitely more dangerous ...

A DEFIANT BEAUTY ...
Though hatred divided their clans, Morgan MacDonnell had come to Cameron Glen hoping for a truce ... only to find that by evening's end the only way to avert bloodshed between the two families was for him to marry his enemy's daughter. But even as Morgan spirited Sabrina away to his rugged fortress, his battle would not be won. For this delicate rose of a girl would put up a bold fight ... and the spoils of victory would be nothing less than a heathen MacDonnell's heart.

Enjoyable book to read. I liked the characters as they didn't totally follow the typical romance trail. Of course, everything works out in the end.

I picked this up on vacation because I was out of my favorite authors. What a great surprise. Not Medeiros usual "a bit far-fetched"! A good read.
