What a great romance - so true to life since it is based on a true story. Two people who are soul mates fall in love and go through the many trials and tribulations that most couples go through - it tests their love for each other. It was nice to see written in a book the many things that can go wrong in a relationship and that people do work on their relationships and just don't give up.

A book about a real life marriage.
Jimmy and Nanci had a strong love and even though they made mistakes and some very poor choices their love for each other was real. After many years of life and day to day struggles they begin to forget how much they love each other. So they sit on Christmas with divorce papers that just need signatures to end the struggles of keeping this marriage together. Will they let it all go forever? What will they choose... This is a poignant story about relationships, life, love, marriage, upset, forgiveness, understanding. I laughed and cried thru the whole thing. Based on a true story: the winning entry of a contest called the "Greatest Love Story Never Told," which rec'd thousands of entries.
