Whitney Gaskell (born 1972 in Syracuse, New York) is an American author of seven comedic novels published by Bantam Books. She lives in South Florida with her husband, George Gaskell, and their son.
She is a graduate of Tulane Law School, and practiced law briefly before publishing her first novel, Pushing 30, in 2003.
Booklist described her novel, Mommy Tracked (2007), as "poignant, funny, and peppered with snappy dialogue."
Whitney Gaskell is also the author of the Geek High series of young adult novels published by Penguin Books, writing under the pseudonym Piper Banks.
