What is it about Northern California? First there was the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr and now along comes another series in the same locale. The location is always lovely the towns small and there are never any problems that the community can't overcome This new series is a bit steamier and hipper than Debbie Macomber's Blossom Street; books, but they borrow the free knitting pattern idea. The Cypress Hollow series reminds me of Chic Lit meets Blossom Street along the Virgin River. I love them all. Feel good stories with some compelling advice and information thrown in.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the books in this series, and really hope there are going to be more.
This book had a more serious tone than the previous two books. I enjoyed getting to meet/make new Cypress Hollow friends, and also catching up with some old favorites.
If you haven't given this author/series a try...you definitely should!

I had somehow convinced myself that this was going to be a cozy mystery. It is not! It is a romance with a knitting pattern at the end. Not bad as romances go, but not what I was expecting.
