I read Dodd books many years ago and thought I'd try again
Alas, just not my cup of tea, I think the title throws you off
This is actually 2 storylines going on at the same time but the main story doesn't seem to be about the woman who couldn't scream(very misleading)
I mainly didn't like it because it just had too much going on in one book and at times it was very slow and very boring
I hate books that have a backstory written in italics and each main character has that
The way it started out with the chase on for a 'bad guy' got lost for a long time in the two storylines unfolding along with the italic backstories, so for me it was slow and at times boring
I don't like romance books at all unless it has a really good story and this one was a mess

I can't even give this one two stars, although I finished it. As I skimmed my way to the end of the book, I was just disgusted that I had wasted my time. Story is overly dramatic and ridiculous, from the characterization and dialogue to the mystery. The victim is starting over, but somehow ends up in a small town with numerous people from her past. The sheriff can't stop telling everyone about her private life, ugghhh.
