Another mystery about Scotland Yard Chief Superintendent Charles Wycliffe.

Inspector Wycliffe is on a two week holiday with his wife Helen in the Roseland peninsula. During their stay they meet a well known author "David Cleeve" who invites them to his home. Cleeve gets Wycliffe alone in his study and questions him on what he should do about his life being threatened without giving him too many details. During Wycliffe's holiday two murders occur and he must try and solve them. Very well written story.
