A very complex plot that hooks you from the beginning and keeps your attention till the end. Fast paced and exciting, with little Capital Hill tidbits thrown in. Good read!

Read this on an airplane...better than nothing to read at all. I love books set in DC. It gets the geography down pat (especially inside the Capitol), but I found the story lacking. But, good pulp read.

This was quite good. I never developed a great affection for the characters, but it was well-written and I wasn't annoyed by anything (which is so seldom the case with action novels with so many hack writers out there).

If you haven't read any of Brad Meltzer's book you are missing a very good author, his book are very intelligent suspense thriller. He does a lot of research to provide a good story. This one is about a game that almost no one knows about, not their friends, not their cowaokrkers, and certainly not their powerful bosses, who are the most influential senators and congressmen on Capitol Hill. Harris and Matthew are the winners in the lastest game but it leads to murder, deception and a political cover up but is it really a game or a CON? See if you can figure out what the heck is going on! Good read!

Very interesting tale. Premise is somewhat questionable but extremely well developed. Would make a good movie.

Great read....Matthew Mercer and Harris Sandler are playing a game almost no one knows about-not their friends, coworkers and certainly not their powerful bosses. It's a game that has everything-risk, reward, and danger.

From the back of the book:
Matthew Mercer and Harris Sandler are playing a game almost no one knows about -- not their firends, not their coworkers, and certainly not their powerful bosses, who are some of of the most influential senators and congressmen on Capitol Hill. It's a game that has everything: risk, reward, and the thrill of knowing that -- just by being invited to play -- you've become a true insider. But behind this game is a secret so explosive it will shake Washington to its core. And when one player turns up dead, a dedicated young staffer will find himself relying on a tough, idealistic seventeen-year-old senate page to help keep him alive... as he plays the Zero Game to its heart-pounding end.
