Asking for Trouble is a good book for young adult readers. I felt bad for Savvy, having to move so far away during her high school years, having to make new friends and trying to fit in. The book is very realistic in how hard it is for young teens to fit in and get involved in a new school. I would recommend this book for a young lady to read.

I really like this book. There is mystery, can PJ really be Dally, who is after Dally, who is behind the theft of vehicles and what trouble will PJ find next? And there is romance and everyday life that happens to us all. I especially like stories based in Minnesota. I am familiar with the area the story takes place and I find it fun to try to imagine PJ sitting along the shores of Lake Minnetonka, cruising the highways to Minneapolis, driving around trying to find a parking place big enough for her Vic.

The First Gardener is not what I was expecting, it was so much better. This book is so realistic, very much like what couples go through. It is sad, and at times hard to read, but the story pulled me into it and I could not put the book down. The story is about the first family, with inputs from the gardener, which makes it so interesting. I will be passing this book on to friends!

This book is an easy read book. A lot happens in this book with so many of the characters to keep my interest. I did not enjoy this book as much as the first book, but it was still an enjoyable book. There is a fair amount of "lust" in this story, which I felt could have been left out and the story would still be the same. The books do need to be read in the order they are written to get the whole story.

Licensed for Trouble (Center Point Christian Mystery (Large Print))

Once again I was waiting to find the answers to so many questions. Why does PJ inherit the house, who really is PJ, who is Max, what is his life story, who is after PJ and why. There is so much that happens in this book. This series has just the right amount of mystery, fun and romance. And it reminds us that God does take care of our needs. I really love this story and wish a fourth book would be written.
This is book 3 in the seies, they are all very good and I recommend them.

This is your basic romance story, girl meets guy, doesn't like guy, marries guy. It is set in a town in southern Minnesota around the Christmas season. I enjoyed reading about the reaction to Lutefish and other tradtions of the area. This is a good book if you enjoy romances, I was disappointed that it did not give more detail of the area.

This book is about a young lady and her ability to find trouble where ever she goes.
I really liked this story. There are a lot of things going on all at the same time. It is a Christian who-done-it mystery with a little romance and humor as well. The Christian influence is so mild, even those who do not typically read Christian Fiction will enjoy this book.

Out of Control is Book 1 in the Kincade Bride series by Mary Connealy. The series is about the Kincade brothers and their emotions regarding an incident in the cave during their youth. This book is about Rafe, who rides by the cave and hears a woman (Julia) in the cave. He helps her out and being late in the day, takes her to his home for the night. When they are almost there Julia wants him to take her home, which is on the other side of the cave from his home. Julia was in the cave exploring while her pregnant step mother and step sister were napping and got caught there, her concern is getting back to them. Julia is obsessed with the cave, believing it was made by the Great Flood with fish fossils so high on the wall.

This book introduces Rafe's other brother and Julia's family.

This is an easy book to read. The characters are a little different than I expected. I could guess what was going to happen next most of the time. I did enjoy reading this book and looked forward to getting the rest of the series.

After ready the first 2 books I was looking forward to reading this book. I did like this book, it finished off the story of the family, but I was also dissapointed with it. There was too much repetition about the cave and Seth's emothinal state. I also think the "lust" between the couples could have been stated less than it was and the story would have been the same. Each book bulds on the previous one, so they need to be read in order. The characters are held through out the series as well, so you get to know them all pretty good by the end of the series.
I enjoy seeing the characters faith and Christian walk grow. That was lacking in this series.

This book is a little romance, suspence, western all rolled into one. The constant who done it kept me reading and the end was not what I expected, it was even better! I especially enjoyed reading how "Amy" witnessed to others and how it eventually helped them make changes in their lives. This is a Christian book, in a light way. This is a very good book. A great start to a new series.

This book was given to me by Barbour Publishing for an honest review.

The first part of the book was slow moving, I very rarely stop reading a book. And I am glad I kept reading this one. Once the story line was established and and characters introduced, it became a good book to read. Had it not been for the Iola's part in this book, I would not have enjoyed it. Her devotion to God and her anonymous gifts to those in need it heartwarming.

Veil of Fire is historical fiction based on an actual fire in Minnesota. The book shows the human nature side, not what happened. I got caught up in "who is hiding in the hills" as well as how the people worked so hard at moving forward without their loved ones. I could not imagine trying to move forward after losing everything and loved ones at the same time. I really like this book.
