I was surprised how good this was, being from an author unknown to me. Nice mystery and good characters. It's especially good for those who know a bit about MD, VA and the Chesapeake.

An alien contact and invasion novel that is among the best SF books I have read. Epic in scope, with a realistic background of science, this book was hard to put down, and even harder to not reflect upon between readings. A beautifully written novel that thoroughly engaged my mind and emotions.

Is he really extraterrestrial? Or just on another planet? When a man who claims to be an extraterrestrial is brought tp the Manhattan Psychiatric Institute, the mental ward seems just the place for him. However, this patient is like no other.

A single book by an author unknown to me. Simple, easy read, packed with decent science and compelling characters.

This book shows again why Gibson is considered one of the SF greats. Our whole vocabulary for the internet world seems to come from this mid-eighties book.

A better than average collection of short stories. There are several hard science offerings. "Beyond the Aquila Rift" and "I, Robot" (not the Asimov story) are alone worth getting this collection.
