At first I wasn't sure I'd like this book, but the more I read it, the more I wanted to continue. It's an interesting mix of fact and fiction, with some excellent insights about religion and human nature.

The maps are outdated, but it works just fine to learn German.

I have enjoyed all of Morgan Lleywelyn's books that I have read and this one was no exception. It was hard to put down.

I like to always have one purely entertaining book (as opposed to research/work) that I can sit down and enjoy with a cup of tea to de-stress. This book was perfect! It's split up into sections and each story is both entertaining in itself and characters move from generation to generation. There is a lot of interesting history woven into it and it's extra fun if you've been to Dublin.
