Celebrating Interfaith Marriages: Creating Your Jewish/Christian Ceremony
Review Date: 3/2/2012

This book was a huge help for me and my husband when we were planning our interfaith ceremony. We also used The New Jewish Wedding by Anita Diamant on the recommendation of our Rabbi. This book taught me a lot about the differences between Christian & Jewish weddings and helped us choose the aspects of each we wanted to include.

This book is a cute formulaic romance novel. I love the author's more recent work (Shanna Swendson - Enchanted, Inc. series) so I enjoyed this opportunity to see her earliest work. Of her old romance novels, I preferred the Emergency Stand-By Date.

I liked the idea of this book, a protagonist who imagines numbers everywhere in her daily life, and was charmed by some of the details. Unfortunately the book had some odd subplots that I felt never had a point and felt very little affinity for Mona.

I loved this book!! As usual, Seidel's characters are so vividly drawn. I cried as I approached the end of this book and a few hours after finishing it, picked it up and read most of it again!
