This is the story of a young woman who travels to the Amazon to do a report on a mission for her church. Of course, things don't go as planned and her trip to the Amazon was a bit more of an adventure than she was expecting. Starting from the beginning, when Ash shows up to fly her out over the Amazon.

What made this book genuinely enjoyable for me was the hero, Asher Adams. He was like, but unlike, any hero I had ever read in a romance novel. He was truely flawed, mean and gruff and vices aplenty. However, the author expertly reveals a deeper character that will make you love him in the way the heroine, Corey, does.

Definitely a keeper, especially for those who love adventure romance.

Engrossing story about a scientist, Niall, who goes to Northern Ireland to study magpies and ends up learning about himself. Interesting read.

Not as good as I had hoped. Slow-moving, I had a hard time getting through it.

I don't usually like Kinley MacGregor, or what she writes as Kenyon, but I really loved this one. Of course, I am a sucker for a tortured hero. It's definitely a keeper.

I picked this up at a discount store because I noticed it had a little blurb on the cover from Stephen King recommending it. I was glad that I did. It's a good "read in the dark" kind of book. I rarely pick up an unknown author and this book was a nice suprise. The characters and chilling mystery drew me in. I couldn't put it down.

I was pleasently suprised with this book. I picked it up at a bargain book sale, even though I was unfamaliar with the author. I really enjoyed it, and have picked up more of her books since. The hero, Sebastion, is very yummy. You'll be happy you read this book.

I thought the premise was good (woman exorcist) but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. It felt like the author was trying to force tension into the book by using s&m scenes. The main character was also pretty whimpy for an exorcist.

I got this super cheap, and I hardly ever read these kind of romances because they are usually cheesy, but I was suprised to find that I enjoyed this one. The meeting of the two main characters had me laughing. The story drew me in. And none of the characters have kids or anything, despite what the title (or rather series title) of the book implies. Good poolside or airplane read.

Okay, your typical urban vamp/romance with the lifemates and good vamps vs bad vamps, and vamp classes and such. I like these better than JR Ward's (although they are very similar).

This baby book is adorable. Baby is bored with riding in his stroller, so what does baby want to ride?

Baby rides a magic carpet, baby rides a rocket, and baby rides an elephant - among other things. The pictures are so cute and the book is simple but imaginative. Your toddler will love it.

Suprisingly good. Lots of action and violence, for those of you who like that kinda stuff (like me!). It's a long book but you'll zip though until the end, and not notice you just read 700 pages. Looking foward to the next one.

From Amazon:

Ever since her police officer dad brought Cole Summers to their home when she was a teen, Melodie Turner wanted him, but the feelings were unrequited as he treated her as a kid sister. Years later, she works as his "Girl Friday" running the private investigation office while he works the cases. Alas she still desires him, but in her mind he still sees her as another younger sibling. Cole actually wants Melodie, but he believes she represents 2.5 kids plus there is the regard he has for her father who guided him when he raised his younger brother and sister after the death of his own dad.
