Anyone who has watched the series will breeze right through these books. I know they are geared for 9-12 year olds, but I enjoyed this book as a 29 year old! I missed watching 7th Heaven when it was on TV, but am now enjoying them on DVD and reading this series of books. This is book number one in the series. Happy Reading!

I grew up reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder series, multiple times. I saw this book, and I was excited to read more about her. It is not written in that same style. It has lots of historical facts and big words. More about what was happening around that same time, than what was happening to her.

This is the book that the movie "Christmas with the Kranks" was based off of. The movie stars Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis. I recently finished the book and then watched the movie several days later...I was surprised how close the movie was to the book. They didn't leave much out.
