The Faith Club: A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew -- Three Women Search for Understanding
Review Date: 5/18/2012

Great book. These authors are so honest with one another. There is no sugar coating here. They handle the tough topics. The confront one another yet more importantly grow clearer in their own faith journey through their encounter. They learn respect for the faith of others by asking the tough questions. Well done.

Beautiful book . . . you will find yourself somewhere within the pages either within the section on rest, rhythm, time, happiness, wisdom or consecration.

While Muller has a Christian background his writing is all-inclusive. But the concept of the Sabbath is much broader than religion. This is a book about how we live our lives. And how to optimize the life experience.

There are many ways to connect with this book . . . through stories, practices, or poetry. I've read and enjoyed Muller's book How, Then, Shall We Live and it is valuable but it was a heavier undertaking . . . it is jam-packed with words! Muller seems to have lightened up the word density with this book so if you found HTSWL heavier this will be lighter. He has so much good stuff to share that it must be quite a task to edit it down from War and Peace size.

This is a book that will always have a home on my bookshelf!
