If you enjoy reading Steve Martini, you'll enjoy this book. Amazingly (to me, anyway), I guessed correctly who did the deed. Never did guess the "why", so do I get partial credit??

Interesting concept from a political standpoint, but the big question is, "Who's in charge"?

Excellent read, especially if you want to know just how they do it. It's full of quotes and examples, not just opinion.

I picked this book up on the spur of the moment, despite its rather lame title. Excellent read! Never a dull moment and the pages seem to turn by themselves.

Quick read. Not much new here, but it did give a picture of their mother, Jackie Peterson. Not a particularaly flattering one.

This is certainly not the best written true crime book I've ever read. Shocking? Yes. Horrible? Certainly. It starts with a lot of promise, but gets a bit lost in the middle. The author makes time jumps seemingly without relevance, rather than as an attempt to explain the circumstances.

As long as Tanya was happy, everyone was safe. Behind the facade, Tanya was a very insecure person who needed to be the center of someone's attention. All the time. If not her husband or her family it would be someone in the medical profession. And she made sure that happened.

Great climax to the series. I do take issue with the way Stephen King chose to end it, however. Not the ending itself, which I thought was perfect, but the way he chose to do it. I guess you're going to have to read it to understand what I'm talking about.

I've become a big Rollins fan and this one did not disappoint me. That said, I think the hatred of David for Jack was extremely overblown. Every hero needs a nemesis, but the reasoning behind this almost defies belief.

Another excellent Steve Alten book. A bit of archeology, adventure, sci-fi, politics, crime, power, spirituality. It's all there. Not the end of the world, but close. The only character I didn't care for was the heroine, who came across as a know-it-all brat. I just wanted her to go away.

Not a bad story, but the writing is so convoluted it boggles the mind. Constant references to previous books which aren't necessary to the story. Background history woven in during conversations. Sentences padded to excruciating length. Decent story, deplorable writing.
